How to get results when you pray for healing.

Some time ago, one of our lady pathology patients, who had significant degrees of pain, asked me if I would pray for her.

I shared with her a scripture, which Jesus shared with His followers, after He had risen from the dead. What He said was, “ These signs will follow those who believe: in My Name they…,will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.” Mark’s gospel chapter 16 ; verses 17 and 18.

Egyptian Type Blessing

I recently shared with a female patient with heart related issues, how I had been healed from ischaemic heart disease ten years ago, by putting into practice what God had ordered Moses to do to enable the millions of Israelites being held captive in Egypt, to be made well and set free.

There was a changed look on her face, when I mentioned this happened in Egypt. She shared that she had recently been there and had purchased a necklace that she absolutely loved and was wearing it that morning for the very first time.

I said if she followed the example of those in Egypt at the time of their incredible miracles, she might be able to look forward to a greater blessing, in the form of a miracle of healing for herself.

I’ve added her to the list of people I regularly pray for.

Coloured Scripture

On a regular basis, patients I collect blood from in my room at our pathology collection centre, tell me they find the words on a colouring in sheet on the side wall of the room, interesting. The colouring was done by one of my grandsons at his school, when he was six years old.

On the day he did this, I was writing down details for the second chapter of my first book, “Ultimate Journey”. I referred to a scripture describing our lives on earth as a journey we are passing through.

That afternoon, I had arranged to call at my grandson’s home, after leaving work. His mum handed me the sheet he had coloured in at school that day, so I could congratulate him for his good work.

When I read the words, “God’s children are passing through on their way to Heaven”, on the colouring in sheet, I recognised them immediately as the verse of scripture I used in my book.

It was as if the scripture verse on the colouring in work my grandson did at school that day, was designed to indicate I had chosen the right words for my book. I found this very encouraging
